DELIVERY OF A REPLICA OF THE HALBERD FOUND IN THE EXCAVATIONS
As a token of gratitude, the council presented us with a replica of the halberd found during the archaeological excavations carried out in 2019.
On May 13, the presentation ceremony for the replica of the halberd took place at the Argamasilla de Alba Town Hall. This original piece dates back to 2,500 BC, unique in its kind in the world and was found during the archaeological excavations of “La Motilla de Santa María del Retamar,” located within the Pago Los Cerrillos estate.
The delivery was made by the Mayor of the Argamasilla de Alba Town Hall, Mr. Pedro Ángel Jiménez, and Noelia Serrano, Councilor for Tourism and Economic Promotion, and received by Mr. Alejandro Montalvo Bustos and Mrs. Denise Wilmot Vosch on behalf of PAGO LOS CERRILLOS-BODEGAS MONTALVO WILMOT.
